Learning Objectives:
As a result of participation in this activity, participants should be able to:
- Understand the impact of trauma by way of torture, violence, or cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment.
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of trauma, particularly for displaced children as a result of violence.
- Gain confidence with psychological first aid through learning and practice via a case scenario.
Requirements for successful completion: Certificates are awarded upon successful completion (80% proficiency) of the post-test.
