Target Audience: Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants)

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define, diagnose, and manage malnutrition in the ICU population.
  • List the indications for and contraindications for enteral and parenteral nutrition.
  • Identify and treat patients at risk for refeeding syndrome.

Requirements for successful completion: Certificates are awarded upon successful completion (80% proficiency) of the post-test.
